My wife and I just came back from an incredible 19-day trip to Portugal! I took over 5,200 photos with my Fujifilm X-E5. Most of June will just be me working on post-trip projects, such as culling the photos, sharing the photos, writing some blog posts about the trip, writing some reviews on the hotels and restaurants from the trip and making a travel photobook out of it. I will also finally start working on some other important adulty things, like changing my legal name, crunching numbers on our finances to see if we can afford to buy a house and getting my parents a long-stay visa in case they want come to Canada to visit me in the future. I’m also considering making a real-life review video of the X-E5 on my YouTube channel.
Lots of things to do, but I envision myself as a turtle—moving slowly but surely!
Piano
I haven’t practiced the piano since January and I’m incredibly disappointed in myself. I need really need to get back to it before I lose the muscle memory of the below pieces I was working on.
- Prelude and fugue in C-sharp major (BWV 848) from the Well-Tempered Clavier, Book 1 by J. S. Bach
- Prelude in C-minor (BWV 934) from Little Preludes and Fugues by J. S. Bach
Long-term project
- Learning 🇵🇹 European Portuguese 🇵🇹 with Practice Portuguese
