Got my hands on the new MacBook Neo and I will be working on a review video for my YouTube channel for the rest of March and first half of April. I think it’s the most influential and interesting computer that Apple has released for a very long time, and I’m so curious to see how well it holds up for music production use cases. In the past, I typically test the Pro variant of Apple Silicon chips, but those has gotten so good that it has started to become kind of pointless to test them—like, yeah, the newest generation Pro chip performs better than the last generation’s, and that’s it. It’s not worth a video proving the obvious.
Derev, the last band I worked with before I quit my audio engineering career (read about why I quit), has asked me to mix a couple of live recordings from their shows and an alternative version of one of their songs, so I’m working on those too.
Piano
I fell off the wagon of practicing the piano consistently again. I need to get back to it!!
